Walk of HOPE Campaign and Fundraising Manager

- 4-month part time contract
- Gosford location 

The Walk of Hope is a well-established one-day walking and running event at The Entrance. It's family friendly with over 200 participants taking part annually.

This key annual fundraising event for HOPE: Global takes places on Saturday 5 May 2018.

About the Job

The Walk of Hope Campaign and Fundraising Manager is a part-time (2 days / week) role based from our Gosford office for four months (Feb – May 2018). An hourly rate of $30 plus a commission based on achieving KPI $75,000 will be offered.

Key tasks:

- Ensure the event introduces new participants to HOPE: Global’s work and achieves adequate funding for HOPE: Global’s ongoing aid program
- Identify, engage and mobilise new corporate and individual sponsors
- Manage relationships with participants; inspire supporters undertaking fundraising
- Design and implement marketing strategy; successfully deliver the Walk of Hope event

Required:

- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing / Fundraising / Events
- Campaign management, fundraising and event planning experience
- NFP experience
- Self-starter with strong administrative and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Adherence to mission, values and Christian ethos of HOPE: Global

Admin and Project Support Officer 

- 6-month part-time contract
- Gosford location

About the Job

The Admin and Project support officer part-time (2 days / 14+ hours a week) role is in our Gosford office. You will provide general office administration and support for our International Volunteer Programs and events.

Key Tasks:


- Administrative support to team leaders and program manager
- Administrative support for fundraising events
- General administration including managing correspondence, some accounts/ receivable and database management

Required:

- Strong administrative and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Competent with MS Office Suite and use of databases
- Experience in the not-for profit sector and working with volunteers
- Adherence to values and Christian ethos of Hope Global

Preferred:

- Knowledge of website management
- Qualification in Business Administration
- Experience working cross-culturally
- Availability to volunteer an extra day on occasion
